Lunch at Cottage

Since Queensbay mall had opened, we had rarely drove out for lunch as the food here are abundant. However, last friday, we feel that it was time to go to a new place for lunch. Furthermore, with the PORR, it is easier and faster to go to Georgetown for lunch. Our destination was The Little Cottage. We parked at New World foodcourt, and walked to the restaurant located in Burma road.

As we sat down, the waiter only gave us set lunch menu. There's a couple of foreigner sat beside us as well, but they were presented with ala-carte menu and set lunch menu. Perhaps our face were written with "SET LUNCH ONLY", or the waiter knows that being Malaysian, we only goes for set lunch. I don't really mind, since all of us really went there for set lunch :)

It was a 5-course set lunch, which are soup, small bun & butter that comes with the soup (they do count this as a course), main course, desert and coffee/tea. I ordered rib-eye steak as my main course. The gravy tasted quite nice, but the steak was overcooked. However, my colleagues commented that their chicken and lamb was quite good. The ambience was quite nice, service is fast, and if you are not picky about food, this place should be alright. Just don't order the steak.
